My name is Urban Hafner and I’m a freelance programmer from Munich,Germany. I studied Bioinformatics at the LMU and TUM in Munich until 2007. Currently I’m doing contract work in Ruby and Rails and web technologies in the broader sense.

About this site
The name of the domain stems from the times when I was working at some place where you had to name your laptop after a mammal that lives under the earth. Of course the obvious ones like mouse or rabbit where already taken. So I had to come up with something else, in this case the Bettong.
