Urban Hafner : Tag podcast, everything about podcast http://bettong.net/tag/podcast.rss en-us 40 Better recommendations for IT Conversations
I’m a regular listener of IT Conversations. But of course I don’t have the time to listen to all podcasts. And anyway there are many that I don’t even want to listen to. So, IT Conversations has a rating system and can give you recommendations. But for that to work you have to remember to go to their website to rate the shows you have listened to. Very cumbersome if you listen to the shows on your iPod somewhere in the wild. But it seems things might change as Phil Windley is asking if You Would Let IT Conversations See Your Podcast Ratings in iTunes?. Seems like a great idea to get some more out of the recommendation system.
Thu, 10 May 2007 09:43:23 +0000 urn:uuid:f3cf58b8-18b0-414a-a992-8fe59a9d3b0d urban@bettong.net (Urban Hafner) http://bettong.net/2007/05/10/better-recommendations-for-it-conversations#comments ratings ITConversations podcast http://bettong.net/2007/05/10/better-recommendations-for-it-conversations Nature's Podcast
It might not be news to everyone, but sometimes I’m slow at taking up new things ;) There’s now Nature’s Podcast a Podcast from the science magazine Nature. They talk about interesting papers in the latest editions of the magazine and a bit about the News in science.

The quality is acceptable, though sometimes the telephone interviews aren’t all that great. But that’s not so much of a problem I guess as there’s also a transcript of every podcast.
Wed, 21 Jun 2006 09:55:43 +0000 urn:uuid:5eb53f63-1dd6-4060-8362-968c479ac8a6 urban@bettong.net (Urban Hafner) http://bettong.net/2006/06/21/natures-podcast#comments podcast nature nature magazine science http://bettong.net/2006/06/21/natures-podcast Pom Pom Pom Pom (DE)
Pom Pom Pom Pom ist ein deutschsprachiger Podcast über Macs.
